FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE ACUARELA 2019, PERÚ

Con orgullo les presentamos nuestro proyecto del Festival Internacional de Acuarela 2019 en el Perú.

Queremos desplegar una variedad de diferentes estilos entre los Artistas Invitados y complementar con las aportaciones que van a salir de este concurso. Del conjunto queremos hacer un catálogo de excelente calidad (con fotos profesionales) que será el premio para todos los artistas aquí seleccionados.

Las obras estarán exhibidas en diferentes galerías de Lima y otros departamentos del Perú, con la opción de participar después en exposiciones itinerantes adicionales.

Convocatoria

International Watercolor Society (IWS) Peruvian Young tienen el gusto de invitarles a participar en el Festival Internacional de Acuarela 2019, Perú que se celebrará en diversos departamentos del Perú.

Inscripción

Las inscripciones serán del 1° de agosto de 2018, hasta el 20 de setiembre de 2018. (Online solamente del 1° al 31 de agosto, 2018)

Para inscribirse deben llenar el formulario que se encuentra al final de esta convocatoria y en la página: https://festivalperuvianyoung.blogspot.com, y enviarlo por e-mail, junto a la imagen digital de su(s) obra(s) al correo electrónico iwsperuvianyoung@gmail.com

Las imágenes digitales de las obras que envíen deben recortarse para excluir el marco o paspartú, además no se aceptará ningún tipo de retoque a la imagen. Los archivos deben ser jpg, resolución de 300 dpi, entre 3 y 4 MB.

El nombre del archivo que contenga la obra debe contener el país, autor, título, sus medidas y el año en que se elaboró la imagen (en ese orden).

Bases

·         Se podrán inscribirse los artistas de 18 años en adelante sin ninguna otra restricción de edad.

·         Cada artista puede participar hasta con dos obras.

·         La temática de la acuarela es libre.

·         Las obras que podrán participar son únicamente acuarelas sobre papel.

·         Las acuarelas deben ser creadas en su totalidad por el artista. El material fuente y la composición deben ser totalmente originales y no derivarse de ninguna imagen publicada. No se permite que esté pintado sobre una impresión. El collage, usando papeles pintados en acuarela por el artista, es aceptado. Los medios que no sean acuarela pueden integrarse, siempre que no cubran más del 10% de la obra.

·         No se aceptará arte digital, obras realizadas en algún taller/clase, fotografías o reproducciones.

·         Las obras enviadas deben haberse generado después del 1º de enero del 2016.

·         Medidas de la obra: 56 x 76 cm, horizontal o vertical.

Resultados

Los nombres de los artistas seleccionados se publicarán en el sitio web: https://festivalperuvianyoung.blogspot.com y en las redes sociales de Facebook de la IWS Peruvian Young y IWS Latin America. Además, los artistas seleccionados recibirán un correo electrónico con instrucciones para el envío de sus pinturas. La obra física que se envíe debe coincidir con la imagen enviada junto a la Inscripción, en caso contrario será descalificada. Todas las obras aceptadas serán exhibidas en galerías en Lima y otros departamentos del Perú,  publicadas en un catálogo de alta calidad y en la galería virtual de https://festivalperuvianyoung.blogspot.com.

Cuota de recuperación, envío y regreso

Todas las obras seleccionadas estarán sujetas a una tarifa de recuperación de 60 USD en caso de realizar los trámites a través del representante de la IWS del país y de 70 USD si se realizan de forma individual. Para los países que no tienen representación de la IWS se aplicará la primera tarifa. Los líderes de la IWS que remitan 10 propuestas de las cuales se acepten al menos 3, quedarán exentos del cobro de la cuota de recuperación. Esta tarifa incluye el catálogo del festival.

Los artistas peruanos, como anfitriones, pagarán solamente 18 USD. Los seleccionados peruanos recibirán instrucciones especiales, donde y como entregar las obras.

Los pagos por las tarifas de recuperación se realizarán a la cuenta bancaria o PayPal que se indicará en las instrucciones del envío.

Los costos de envío y retorno de obra, así como cualquier costo adicional por motivo de aduana o cuestiones similares correrán por cuenta del artista.

Premio

Habrá tres premios de adquisición, menciones honrosas con premios en materiales artísticas. Más que nada queremos premiar a todos los participantes y artistas invitados con un catálogo de alta calidad (fotos profesionales) y por lo mismo invertir el dinero de las recuperaciones en ello.

Jurado

Un grupo de reconocidos artistas, críticos y galeristas internacionales realizarán la selección en una galería virtual de alta resolución de las 200 obras que participarán en las exposiciones en diferentes galerías de varios departamentos del Perú y otro grupo de jueces, in situ, se encargará de la asignación de los premios con las obras físicamente presentadas. Las decisiones del jurado son inapelables.

Condiciones y responsabilidades

El manejo de las obras se realizará con gran cuidado por parte de los organizadores del evento. Enviando su inscripción los artistas liberan a la IWS Peruvian Young y los terceros que este designe para la cooperación en el desarrollo del Festival de Acuarela de toda responsabilidad. Ni funcionarios o agentes de recepción o arrendamiento serán responsables por la pérdida o daño de cualquier obra de arte presentada a este festival. Se sugiere que cada artista se encargue de su propio seguro, si así lo considera pertinente, ya que ellos serán los únicos responsables para sus obras en caso ocurriese algún siniestro con ellas durante el Festival Internacional de Acuarela 2019.

 Los artistas seleccionados autorizan a la organización utilizar las imágenes e información de su autoría para ser difundidos en publicidad, catálogo o presentaciones / videos a discreción de la IWS Peruvian Young y cualquier tercero con el que este último decida contratar para apoyar en el desarrollo del Festival de Acuarelas.

INTERNATIONAL WATERCOLOR FESTIVAL 2019, PERU

We proudly present our project of the 2019 International Watercolor Festival in Peru. We want to display a variety of different styles among the Guest Artists and complement them with the contributions that will come out of this contest. From the ensemble we want to make a catalog of excellent quality (with professional photos) that will be the prize for all the artists selected here.

The works will be exhibited in different galleries of Lima and other departments of Peru, with the option of participating later in additional traveling exhibitions.

CALL OF ENTRIES

International Watercolor Society (IWS) Peruvian Young are pleased to invite you to participate in the 2019 International Watercolor Festival, Peru, to be held in various departments of Peru.

Inscription

The inscriptions will be from August 1, 2018, until September 20, 2018. (Online only August 1 to 31, 2018)

To register, you must fill out the form that is at the end of this call and on the page: https://festivalperuvianyoung.blogspot.com, and send it by e-mail, along with the digital image of your work (s) to the email iwsperuvianyoung@gmail.com

The digital images of the works you send must be cut out to exclude the frame or mat, and no type of retouching of the image will be accepted. The files must be jpg, resolution of 300 dpi, between 3 and 4 MB.

The name of the file containing the work must contain the country, author, title, its measurements and the year in which the image was created (in that order).

Eligibility

·           Artists of 18 years and older can be registered without any other age restriction.

·           Each artist can participate with up to two works.

·           The theme is free

·           The works that can participate are only watercolors on paper.

·           Watercolors must be created in their entirety by the artist. The source material and the composition must be totally original and not derived from any published image. It is not allowed to be painted on an impression. The collage, using papers painted in watercolor by the artist, is accepted. Media that is not watercolor can be integrated, provided they do not cover more than 10% of the work.

·           Digital art, works made in a workshop/class, photographs or reproductions will not be accepted

·           Submitted works must have been generated after January 1, 2016.

·           Measures of the work: 56 x 76 cm, horizontal or vertical.

Results

The names of the selected artists will be published on the website: https://festivalperuvianyoung.blogspot.com and on the Facebook of IWS Peruvian Young and IWS Latin America. In addition, selected artists will receive an email with instructions for sending their paintings. The physical work must coincide with the image sent next to the registration, otherwise it will be disqualified. All accepted works will be exhibited in galleries in Lima and other departments of Peru, published in a high quality catalog and in the virtual gallery of https://festivalperuvianyoung.blogspot.com

Recovery fee, shipping and return

All the selected works will be subject to a recovery fee of USD 60 in case of carrying out the procedures through the representative of the IWS of the country and 70 USD if they are done individually. For countries that do not have an IWS representation, the first rate will apply. The leaders of the IWS who submit 10 proposals of which at least 3 are accepted, will be exempt from the collection of the recovery fee. This rate includes the festival catalog.

Peruvian artists, as hosts, will only pay 18 USD. The selected Peruvians will receive special instructions, where and how to deliver the works.

Payments for recovery fees will be made to the bank account or PayPal that will be indicated in the shipping instructions.

The costs of shipping and return of work, as well as any additional cost for customs reasons or similar issues will be borne by the artists.

Awards

There will be three acquisition prizes, honorable mentions with prizes in artistic materials.

But more than anything we want to reward all the participants and guest artists with a high quality catalog (professional photos) and therefore invest the money from the recoveries in it.

Jury

A group of renowned international artists, critics and gallery owners will make the selection in a high resolution virtual gallery of the 200 works that will participate in the exhibitions in different galleries of several departments of Peru and another group of judges, in situ, will be in charge of the assignment of the prizes with the works physically presented. The Jury's decisions are unappealable.

 Conditions and responsibilities

The handling of the works will be done with great care by the organizers of the event. By sending your registration, the artists release the IWS Peruvian Young and the third parties it designates for the cooperation in the development of the Watercolor Festival of all responsibility. Neither officials nor agents of reception or lease will be responsible for the loss or damage of any work of art presented to this festival. It is suggested that each artist take care of their own insurance, if they consider it appropriate, since they will be the only ones responsible for their works in case of any accident with them during the International Watercolor Festival 2019, Peru.

The selected artists authorize the organization to use the images and information of its authorship to be disseminated in advertising, catalog or presentations/videos at the discretion of IWS Peruvian Young and any third part, with which they decide to contract to support the development of the Festival of Watercolors.
